A Reflection Through my Still Life

I attended a still-life drawing workshop with a red vase that grabbed my attention. As I began to draw its detailed features, I began to sketch.

This experience led me to reflect on the concept of humanity. In a different perspective, it made me view how the darkness and lightness within each of us shape our individuality and uniqueness

It made me relate to humanity ,In another perspective the darkness and lightness within us is what shapes us the most and make us look unique.

I wanted to express this feeling through my still life, as drawing for me is a way of shaping realty and imagination through lines and shapes, allowing my creativity to flow endlessly. I sketched while my mind wandered.

I started drawing the vase and its surrounding in white, and shading in black. This symbolizes the interplay of darkness and light, creating a visual representation in my still-life drawing

Unity of Collaboration

Upon completing our drawings in the studio, we gathered around to both inspire and be inspired. I found it fascinating how we were all given the same task, yet each of us produced a different outcome. Also the step where we switch drawings and continue each other still life was great addition, I felt unity in collaboration.
